Timecheck: I have arrived, been triaged, and registered. Still in the waiting room, though, the light and the noise. One of those laptop hoods might be neat now.

Which means it's off to the ER with me.
Ah crap.
It made them foam at the mouth (because it tasted so bad) and want to kill me (because it tasted so bad.)
Was it Cyproheptadine? That's what Pico has. The mouth foaming is really bad - one whole side of his head is soaked from lying down. I'm wondering I If should call the emegency vet and check it out. Googling makes me think it's not uncommon though.
Speedy recovery, Pico!
My cat, Josie, is really starting to go downhill. She has started not using her litter box on occasion. Her weight is crazy low. She cries whenever I pick her up. I would think now is the time to put her down but she still purrs, cuddles, and eats. This sucks. Poor little kitty-boo (and me, too).
Aw Glamcookie, it's such a hard decision to make. Poor Kitty.
not a good time for kitties I guess. My old boy percy has been definatly aging. with occasional blood in the urine, which we will be checking out on Wednesday. There are 'nothing' to major things this could be. I only want to know if I can do something - otherwise I don't wanna know.

I am the same way. On my first vet visit they mentioned the possiblity of feline leukemia. And I didn't even want to test. I just couldn't cope with that diagnosis, especially where it would affect my other cat. Besides, Pico wasn't that sick.
Poor kitties. I just talked to a friend whose cat has kidney failure, too. So hard to know what to do when they can't tell you.
Aw crap ita, I'm so sorry.
I'm going away for the 4th this year, just to Catalina to hang with the cousins for a couple days.
I think I hate the new Password -- it's all Millionaire-d up. The old-style one was more breezy and less speed-oriented until the bonus round. Ah well.
Crap, ita. You need one of the knitters to knit you a protective hood.
I feel for all you other geriatric cat owners. Mister Kitty is 15 or 16 now, with what? 5 years on with diabetes. I can recall when he could jump from the counters to the top of the cabinets, almost 5 feet, without trouble. These days, he sometimes misses jumping onto the bed or futon. All of 20 inches. And his back end is wobblier when tussling. But he's hanging in there.
