Someone at work is supposed to be bringing me an AC unit when she cleans out her garage, but I have no idea how to get it home-- taxi I guess. Also, I have lived this long in western ny WITHOUT AC, so I feel like I don't want to start. But man, is it hot!

I saw a lot of people buying A/Cs yesterday!
I'm going to Brooklyn for brunch, and my friend just texted me to make sure I knew how to get there. Cute! But I can handle Brooklyn now. Actually, I'm having a 4 borough weekend -- it kind of makes me want to hop on the Staten Island ferry, just so I can hit them all!
Jesse, where are you going?
I took a cold shower and am now sitting in front of the window with the ceiling fan going full blast. I think I may just not move for the rest of the day.
NoNo Kitchen in Park Slope.
Yum!
I certainly hope so!
We've been lucky this year. Usually we have the AC running by mid-April. It was late May this year, but once it came on it hasn't gone off again. We have two window units and fans at strategic points to move the air through all the rooms. It doesn't feel cool enough until you go out and come back in. Then it feels like absolute heaven in here.
I have an extra A/C, its actually chilling in the basement of my old apartment.
Wow, that unnamed for spoilage tennis dude sure had a great game!
Ah, A/C I do love you so, the electric bill not so much.
Laura, about the tennis--not naming the other person in the final and saying they had a great name is a spoiler, so I'm editing your post...
