I loved that book, Bellwether. It actually changed my view of the world.
The really annoying assistant-ish character (who started the duct tape trend, IIRC) just left me wanting to killstabkill her. Seriously. I can't stand irresponsible, ditzy people even when they're fictional.
The rest of the book was interesting, though.
I vaguely recall being annoyed at a ditzy chick. I loved that they brought in actual sheep.
I loved that they brought in actual sheep.
Right? What better way to demonstrate the concept?
I did a little gardening today, repotting a few things that have been busting out of their containers, and filling a new big container with white begonias, yellow snapdragons, and pink petunias.
Gah. Don't wanna do laundry. I wish I could get gold stars for chores.
I took Muppet out for a little walk, as long as we're showing off:

I committed laundry. Admittedly, I still have as much dirty as I just washed, but that's five loads tackled in an impractical fashion. Better than nothing by far. So now I'm CPR/AED/first aid certified, and have clean knickers for tomorrow. Of the things on my list for the weekend, I'd rather have had lunch with kat. But at least if I'm pissy doing chest compressions or pissy selecting the delicates wash I'm kinda being pissy into the void. No harm, no foul.
GC, it's been smelling horrible all day, like burnt plastic. We shut the windows.
Blech. Sorry you're close enough to smell that, Kat. I'm sure it smells nast.
