That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Man. I didn't realize that wearing sparkly shoes with bling was a no-no for weddings, but that seems to be the prevailing opinion.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

shrift, if people complain about your shoes, just explain to them that at least they're not strappy sandals with spats.

Tom, if I had money to burn, I would be tempted to buy those ugly-ass things and play a horrible joke on my family.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Scrappy, which restaurant did you go to?

I just took a panic nap. Just got hit hard by a migraine high on the non-pain side effects, so I took advantage of the cube setups (I'm just about facing the wall when I'm at my PC) to close my eyes. I think things have eased up some, but if I can drive in an hour, I need to go home for lunch.

I'm eating cream of wheat, which is kinda cold, because of the nap thing.

For Juliana. (If it made noise, it'd be for Matilda, too.)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

EEeeeeee!!!

Hec, I'm always willing to babysit, if need be.

And is this for a wedding you're in, shrift? Both times I've been in a wedding, silver sandals were mandated. The bling was my own choice, but still.
