Happy Birthday Dana!
Whoops.
Showers are for mornings. Baths are for nighttime.
I grew up in a house with one bathroom that had a clawfoot tub and no shower. So baths for me are all about getting clean and getting out. I don't find them relaxing at all.
I also grew up in the huge, cast-iron tub and no shower household--also with one bathroom (five kids, four of them girls). And yet, even with that traffic, baths were made for languishing, enjoying, reading, playing, etc. My earliest memories of my mom were her reading a novel while relaxing in the tub. That think held heat FOREVER. I miss our old tub.
Nutella bread looks nummy.
Countrywide is foreclosing on Ed McMahon's house
That was just on the news here. Apparently, one of the reasons he's been unable to sell his house is that Britney Spears is his neighbor.
I can't say that I blame prospective buyers, actually. I'm less than thrilled by the obnoxious rednecks making noise around my apartment, and I'm paying less than $900 a month instead of taking on a $6 million+ mortgage.
Meara & Javachik - I totally want to hear about your trips
Um...I sang karaoke? I performed with drag kings? I did not go to the Guiness brewery? I also didn't manage to leave Dublin? My favorite museum was...uh...that one? With the stuff? Some guy's library that had like, Japanese stuff, and some books?
I understand Ed's not been able to work because of an injury but has he been living paycheck-to-paycheck all these years?
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Dana!
Had outpatient surgery today. They gave me Percoset and I'm feeling kinda fuzzy right now....
