Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Ha! I didn't know she was named Momo.

Ayep. She is very Momo-like, even though she is all black.

GC, it's hilarious to me that you call your Momo Mo, and we call our Mo Momo.

Ha! That is funny! We typically include the in it ("the Mo") - I'm not sure why, but it kind of stuck.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Our Mo is often called either The Mo (the name requires an article) or Momo.

She's our elder statescat.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Oh much ~ ma, Scrappy.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm irrationally/justifiably irritated with BFF.

I'm sorry, Daisy. It is incredibly tough to stand by when our adult loved ones are doing the self destruct thing, but we ain't the boss of them. All we can do is tell them we feel they are making bad decisions, but that we still love them. She may never learn, or she may need a friend when she does.

DH and my big sister get on each other's nerves because they are too damn alike. They fight, and want me to take sides. They are both totally wrong IMO because if they were right they never would have had the pissing contest in the first place. Jerks.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Scrappy, DH and family}} What a horrible thing.

Laura is very wise. I'd be totally irritated that she was lying to me. Of course, that also probably indicates that, at some level, she knows that what she's doing isn't good for her or she wouldn't feel the need to lie.

DJ, it sounds to me like your BFF is flaking on the HH and putting distance between you because she's figured out that you don't approve of her decisions (and somewhere deep inside she knows you're right). You're being a BFF to her by caring and worrying and wishing better things for her. She's not holding up her end of the BFF bargain by acknowledging your fears or talking to you about what's happening.

Sox, there are no pictures at that link from your trip... such a tease.

Why is my puppy awake and looking at me like I should play with her? She went to daycare today, we took a walk and she played in the dog park when we got home, she's been skritched... she should be puppy-flopped at my feet.

If she is anything like my kitteh, there is no reasoning.
