Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Birthday Felicitations, oh most magnificent of Deenas! All good things wished for you.

I woke up cold this morning. Which hardly ever happens. As I puttered around I realized my back and especially my left shoulder seemed especially chilled, almost tingly, like having fallen asleep, which you know, just weird. I reached to rub my shoulder, and my t-shirt was...wet?

So I checked my bed, and yup, where the mattress touches the wall, the mattress was wet, the pillows were wet--even the wall was wet.

Sometime during the night either the condenser froze, or it's been so humid the catch pan overflowed from all the moisture the AC unit in the window above my bed dehumidified from the indoor air. It came down the wall and soaked into the mattress, pillows, and *me*. Brrr.

So the mattress is out sunning on the deck, as are the pillows, and the bedclothes and t-shirt are in the wash, and DH has disassembled, cleaned, checked, and reassembled the AC. Exciting stuff, my life.

Also, Ginger, I'm glad you're feeling better. And I'm especially glad you have power back. No wonder the dog was scared. That's a lot going wrong at once.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor Ginger! What an epically bad night! I am glad you are feeling better and I hope the clean-up is not too taxing.

Happy happy Deena day! We don't see enough of her around these parts, I have to say.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

wow, it was a rough night for Bitches. Hope all is ok, and get a little rest to start the work week off.

I did manage to finally fall asleep. And miracle of miracles, woke up in time to catch the Yankee game on TBS-hd! Of course they aren't doing well, but it's only the third, so there is time.

Oh ya, & tomorrow I am going to SEE the Yanks play the Rangers. Sure hope the Yanks win that one.

Mostly lurking...

Today Verizon doesn't suck. They replaced my phone, even though they didn't have to. YAY!

Oh no, Ginger! I'm sorry.

Happy birthday Deena!

I'm so psyched that Kristin got to fly in the manner that she DESERVES and caught the boat. May this be a sign of your relaxing vacation to come!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{Ginger}}} I hope you feel better today and you can have a relaxing day!

Beverly, what a way to wake up!!! I hope everything dries out today!

Deena!!! Happy birthday, woman!

Hi, Bitches!

Eek, Ginger! The one would be bad enough, but during a power outage! That's just not fair!

I am in a very very bad mood. And have a headache. I am trying to decide if I should bail on a "meet my parents!" potluck BBQ later that I am supposed to go to. I would feel mildly guilty, but more importantly, part of my bad mood is about feeling lonely. OTOH, I am not sure I should be around people while feeling grumpy. Hmm. Also, I feel I should be helping one of the people who will be there move. Which is happening right now. And I am not there, helping her move. So if I show up...yeahhhh. Ah, guilt. What a varied and complex emotion. Especially when you were raised Catholic.

Thrive to spite them

Ginger I hope things get better soon. Sorry about all the outages and dog being upset. Poor puppy.

YAY for Kristin getting her much needed vacation.

I'm very tired and still moving. well everythign at the old place is done. I have a new microwave (the other was rusting) it's red. And it was on sale at Target. Only the red ones, so if you are looking for a microwave, Emmerson , Red colored 58 dollars.

Now I have to figure out where to put it. I have counter spac eI am not going to clutter up.

Also found frozen all fruit bars by Edy's. No HFCS! (Their ice cream has it) they had different flavors like raspberry and strawberry but also Tangerine and coconut. I didn't get hte coconut but got the tangerine. Which I will have as a treat later.

And my wireless works, I could never get it to work properly at my old place.

I swear I woke up this morning and felt so rich and decedant, I was in my bedroom. Which is only my bedroom. And I have HUGE living room, that's just a living space. All this and a deck (I may post out there later) all for me!

Now if Anna will stop hiding under the bed and revel in the space with me.
