Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Fuck me with a rubber penguin.

This may actually replace "fuck me gently with a chain-saw" as my favorite expression of exasperation.

t Daniel breaks into a rendition of "Rock me Gently" with the lyrics "fuck me gently with a chain-saw."

t Daniel now realizes he should not have done that when Andi was drinking soda pop.

Our wings are not tired

Even better if it's a chainsaw wielding rubber penguin.

Even better if it's a chainsaw wielding rubber penguin.

It fits the beats. "Chainsaw wielding...rubber penguin."

Hmm, they may have been Andy Kim's original lyrics.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Emmett and team!

Tons of ~ma for Ginger. I hope you feel better very quickly, and your dog gets some peace.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"It's GilesRubber Penguin! It's GilesRubber Penguin, with a chainsaw!"

Oh geez, Ginger. Much ma headed in your direction.

Sometimes the gods smile, Kristin. I'm glad they smiled in your direction, since they've been mostly snickering and pointing lately.

Also, sj, rings! Must see pictures! My tastes are idiosyncratic, I realize this, but I think Betsy has the most beautiful wedding ring I've ever seen. It's hard to describe, a simple band, but gorgeously engraved. I don't know if her DH's matches or not.

Our original plain yellow gold bands did. I had to stop wearing mine, it trapped water underneath it and the skin of my finger weakened and deteriorated. I replaced it with a wee narrow one, and then we had my mom's engagement diamond (Dad bought her a new one)reset in a designer ring, with the two tiny chips from my "pre-engagement" ring. Then DH had his accident and stopped wearing his ring at all. For a significant anniversary, I got a wide-ish sterling band with a moonstone set in 18kt yellow gold bezel, bracketed by a wirework applique that ran the circumference of the ring and ended with spirals on either side of the moonstone, symbolizing two-in-one. It got too tight for comfort, so now I'm wearing a stack of very narrow sterling bands in different patterns.

At least I've kept the same husband.
