Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I had 2 pints of Ommegang Hennepin

Yum!

Aha, but are you currently sipping one of Tom's homebrews? (rye/wheat summer beer)

Oooh, that sounds really good!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Why?

I added some people I haven't ever been really close to in High School, but we all pretty much got along, and it's been awesome seeing how they're doing.

Mostly because of the whole, "OMG YOU GAY!" thing. Post-high school I dated the It boy for several years and ended up leaving him for the soon-to-be wife. I was the gossip in the smallish town I went to high school in after that.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

But - no, I must admit I don't think I have seen Beautiful Thing.

Is it a film?

OMG OMG OMG. You must remedy this. It's my fave gay movie ever, based on a play, set in the London estates. Soundtrack is almost entirely Mamas and Papas. amyth and I still quote it all the time. Awesome characters. imdb linky.

I hear you. It's right there in my profile that I'm bi. But at this point I'm like, oh, eff 'em if it's a problem.. I still get the occasional insecurity twinge, b/c hello, high school, but it hasn't been an issue so far.

What was a bigger step, and which I just did about an hour ago, was message my old host brother from peace corps. B/c I most *definitely* was not out over there. Yikes.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Weirdly, I am the only mostly straight person of all my high school facebook friends! Actually, I am not sure how I managed to a) hang out with sooo many gay boys and b) how there were so many gay boys in my school. My female high school facebook friend is also gay.

Oh good lord watch it. It's so so lovely.

This time tomorrow I'll be in Reykjavik! And this time next week I'll be in Boston! Seeing people! And things and stuff!

Yeah, I don't really care if they like it or not, just wondering if I really want to go over it all with them. These were 2 that I really did like (unusual in my high school days), so it'll be cool. Hell one of them was my first girl! A cheerleader, no less. t makes macho face
