The students feel like he treats them like they are in elementary school instead of high school.
Not surprising. After all, he treats the teachers like they were in elementary school.
'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

True. We keep expecting to have a "Time out Chair" in the teacher's lounge.
I think it's weird. But I also think the resort's dress code is weird. They should just not allow kids. Because it's VACATION. Kid's shouldn't have to wear shoes on vacation unless it's for safety reasons. Like frostbite.
I'm guessing it's like the swanky resort I stayed at in Mexico - they have very high end restaurants where they go to lengths to keep out beachwear. It's not for the resort as a whole - and they aren't your only dining choices.
Why you're bringing the kids to one of those places in the first place I can't answer. Or why you feel the need to bitch if you do.
Kristin just showed me Dr. Horrible. It was 50% awesome.
I have to confess, I've never heard of Carly Churchill.
Possibly because it is actually Caryl Churchill. An alternate spelling of Carol.

only 50, Sean?
Caryl Churchill
Haven't heard of her, either.
I'm not surprised folks haven't heard of her. She's a late 20th century playwright. Amazing stuff, a very strong woman writer. It's a shame that she and others like her are not better known.
I have to wonder if it's only the restaurant(s) and bars in the resort that have the rule. One would hope...
yes, it's just the restaurant. there's a poolside grill that doesn't have a dress code.

Possibly as much as 66% awesome. Maybe even a little more. But the way it played out prevents it from being too much more awesome than that.
The songs were fantastic, though.
