Do you want me to come back down? I can catch a train tomorrow if you need me.
I'm okay. It would just be two of us sitting around here.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Actually, Kristin, i'll be teaching 7 classes this year.
First semester will be 4 classes and no planing (we are on the block schedule). Second semester will be 3 classes + planning. There is "common planning" from 7-8am; however, with only 2 copy machines for the teachers, all the "stupid stuff we gotta do" meetings and generally not being a morning person that time isn't going to do much good.
I agree about getting out of Dodge. Alas, Hub just got a new job at the Plant (actually this is good news). Next month he will be starting as a "Work Week Manager" back at the nuclear plant. Basically no mids, raise, better work environment, etc.
First semester I'll probably be teaching Acting 1 & 2, Intro to Drama and two sections of English 3 (because my school keeps screwing me over and needs the English teachers). Second semester should bring Intro to Drama, Stagecraft 1-3 and either English 3 ~or~ Musical Theatre (I just got an e-mail from the school Chorus teacher about team teaching this and doing a musical at the school...if we can get 35-40 kids to commit). Plus, second semester I have district and state competitions and my normal production schedule.
Howdy from the Boise airport. A liquid lunch is not the smartest thing ever. Oh well.
Looks like this Boise trip will be a monthly thing. Joy.
Drew - the universe needs to fuck the hell off. Sideways. Without lube.
Drew, I know that it sucks for you to have to do all the paperwork for so many reasons, but it's a wonderful thing you're doing for your family. If they forget to say it: thank you for being a rock.
Trudy, continuing ~ma for your mom.

Ah, yes. A life of every morning at the morning meeting.
A life of every morning at the morning meeting.
Probably. However, after 22 years in operations he'll have a reasonable idea of what to expect from the crew. Some seem to thing the best reason for scheduling something is, "Because I said so, that's why" and then cross their arms and stick out their bottom lip.
In the latest chain of surreal Dad's cremains were also ready at the mortuary so I have them in the back seat of my car. I think he's going with me to get fast food.
They made me stand up and twirl around so they could get an action shot of my outfit
She's the Action Goth!

Forgive me for thinking he could count towards a car pool lane requirements.
Drew, Hub said "welcome to his world" when I told him about your Dad's cremains.
We still have his mom's cremains stilling on a bookshelf in our guest room. On the other hand, my cat's cremains are on a special shelf with all her things in our guest bathroom, which was where we kept her littler box, dish and kennel. The cat's cremains we intend to keep. His mom? no idea, she never left any plans beyond "I want a simple cremation."
Forgive me for thinking he could count towards a car pool lane requirements.
Hah!
Still my favorite game night Taboo clue ever:
When my friend couldn't get "cemetery" after trying just about everything, I resorted to "Where my parents ashes would be if they weren't in my sister's basement!" "Cemetery!" "Next!"
