Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I've tried to register so I can post comments on the Kerfuffle Bunny site a couple times but I haven't received a confirmation email.

It shows you're registered, Laga. Have you tried commenting?

not your mom's socks.

I need information about Philly neighborhoods!

surely! - though I think d is a better resource. We like where we live a lot. Mt. Airy is also pretty cool and much like the Peoples' Republic of Tacoma Park near DC. Downtown Philly, there are some great neighborhoods - I know our friends liked the Northern Liberties a lot - and some that are very expensive. The suburbs are well connected to the city by a great rail system - and there are a lot of areas to choose from.

Punishingly Intricate

I thought you'd be good, Sox, because you can compare and contrast with B'more. What neighborhood do you live in there? The jobs they are getting are in center city so they are interested in something on a train line, at least.

“Not dead yet!”

Yanno, at the rate my mother is going, I'm seriously considering moving somewhere that, if not inaccessible, is at least far, far away.

And not leaving a forwarding address.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Jilli, when you come back, can you take a look at these and tell me if any of them strike your fancy.

I can drink the water again. I'm so excited. (We've been on a boil water advisory for two days.)
