Crud, Susan. Much ~ma to your whole family.
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It sounds like maybe the brakes aren't really damaged, Susan? I'm with you in not seeing exactly how that would affect them, or her getting all the way to town without them.
I'm so sorry. Cancer is so hard, and I bet your mom has so many things on her mind.
In much, much happier news, Annabel is in the middle of an elaborate game in which many of her toy animals are defending a castle against the repeated and ingenious attacks of "Bad Horse." At one point they put Bad Horse in jail--the top drawer of the desk I'm typing at--only the prison guard helped him escape. Because she is Bad Maisy.

I am extremely amused.
Then they asked me a bunch of questions about my car. Stupid small town cops.
That sounds so Live Oak.
And much ~ma to Susan for her mom.
That sounds so Live Oak.
It was Inglis...so similar, though. (Quite close geographically, too). DH works with a guy from Live Oak. All the little towns in this area are too much like Deliverance.

Yeah, that's my thinking. I wonder if the mechanics just saw she was confused and didn't think she should be driving. This is a really small town, so there's a good chance someone there knew her. But she seemed fully "there" mentally when I talked to her.
Tons of ~ma to you, Susan. That's a very stressful situation, and we both wish you the best in navigating it.
Much ~ma to you, Susan.
It's driving me crazy that there's an hour left in SYTYCD and there's 50 posts in NonFiction and I don't want to go in there and spoil myself. And I'm on my work computer and don't allow myself to go on LJ on it. Argh.
Also, I have not gone to have dinner yet. I'm sure I"ll be pretty hungry by the time I go to bed, but I definitely am too lazy to go anywhere. Meh. Guess I'll just be hungry for a full breakfast in the morning.
