[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

bonny, good to see your font.

Nora, you and your tree look lovely. I am a huge fan of the wrap dress.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It seems wrong to me that someone as adorable as Nora has body-image demons.

Preferred outcome vibes coming your way Barb. Good luck.

Nora, seriously, the reflecting in the garden picture is frameworthy. Just lovely. And great dress!

Spark. How the heck are ya? Things are better around here...now that I'm over my week-long cold. The dark days seem to be behind me...to the degree that I actually did a craft project yesterday. I haven't created anything of beauty in more than a year...maybe longer. I'm taking that as a good sign.

Howze the sassy girl?

Sassyfrassy is doing very well. She warmed up to my niece and nephew who were visiting last weekend pretty quickly when she realized they'd scritch her endlessly. Also, I have a kennel to recommend if anyone needs one out this way on your client list. She spent 3 nights/4 days there and came back clean, happy and gastro-intestinally a-okay. (And she charged me by the nights, not the days.)

I see that Big Bad Woof is having not-happy hours on the last Saturday of every month from 1-5 (4?) with trainers, etc. You want that I should drop your name?

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Barb, don't feel too bad. In my morning haze, I was picturing Byron wearing 'Cranky Bloomers" and being more indignant than ever.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, I forgot to look at the dress! Too distracted by very pretty Nora and the greenery.

{{Kristin & Drew}} This is one of my fears when I get home after my husband and son taking care of the house by themselves a couple months. And it will be mid-August so I won't be able to open the windows. I may have to walk around with Vicks under my nose.

Catching up it is lovely to see bonny fides' font! I appreciated reading the getting unstuck advice too. And linked Ginger's anti-procrastination blog.

I suppose I need to get back to work. Pout.

Please! That would be great. The more contacts the better.

We are having our community dog show this Saturday 10-2, in front of the police station in Marion Park.

I tangentially helped get the show started about 5 years ago. It will be fun to go as 'doggy lama' this time, offering coaching hours as prizes

Oh, and Sparky, please let me know the contact info for your kennel. I'm always looking for good referrals and I get asked that one a lot. (here or profile addy)

eta: Hi Laura!

Me too! Strength in numbers. I could really use some of that.

It was this place, bonny. [link] It's way out there, but she's not kidding about them having all sorts of acres of fenced space open to them.

I wish we could stop by the dog show, but we're out of town this weekend.

Yes, indeed. You look all curvaceous and seeeexy.

I got nostalgic last week when I went grocery shopping and saw they had gooseberries. So, I bought a pack. Then, sat and looked at them for a week because I had no idea what to do with them other than pie and there weren't enough there. I took a chance and went back to the same store on Monday and they still had some, so I got two more packs. Now, I have gooseberry pie. OMG, so yum. I haven't had one since I stayed at an aunt's house when I was 8 or 9. I really need a house, now, so I can plant a gooseberry bush.
