Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

awesome Fay - and teh gym going too!

I'm making tomato, melon, and basil gazpacho; a salad with grilled asparagus, snap peas, cucumbers, pistachios, and grated somethingorother cheese; and chicken and beef skewers in the secret marinade. Was there a farmers' stand down the street today? Hells yeah.

Also, Sox is making me want gazpacho. Nom.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I think I have eaten one tiny, simple sandwich in the last 45 hours.

I want to crawl under a rock and hide forever.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Bears repeating. I hope that you get your cable hooked up today with no more bs.

Well, I have cable. And I have internet. The internet is not wanting to play with the wi-fi router. So for now, that is disconnected. But my computer is cruising at rock star speeds! Now to play with the TV and figure out the ins/outs of the cable box. I just put an order in for 2 HDMI cables from Amazon. For $2, why not get a second. When it arrives, I'll be able to have it connected via that instead of component. Now my DVR/DVD player isn't connected. Not enough inputs. Who knew!

OK, I'm babbling I think. Must get food, sleep, and play with TV... possibly in that order (but doubtful it will be)

Sean! What's going on with you, hon? I'm getting really worried about you.

Sean, that doesn't sound helpful. Have you been eating the bad tomatoes? Or jalapenos? Or whatever the evil things are that nobody can figure out?

YAY for cable and internet, Omnis!
