Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

These are the new skull shoes I'm wearing tonight. You have to look closely to see the skull print. I bought them for $7 on the clearance rack at Marshalls.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ooh, sugar. And you can't beat the price!

That's too bad that Alaska is giving you such a hard time, Vortex! Drew and I use them all the time and have always gotten good service, so I'm bummed to hear that isn't the case this time. Good luck sorting it all out.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm "working from home" and watching Bringing Home Baby on TLC. It's a gay couple who had twin girls via a surrogate. Is very cute.

Things That I Took A Chance On At Trader Joe's Report:

Lightly Salted Crunchy Green Beans-- they're like, dried green beans? freeze dried maybe, or something. and salty. they're YUM. mostly just crunchy and a little salty (but not toooooo salty--slightly less than potato chips--you can see the salt on them, but if you tried to lick it off, it wouldn't do much for ya). The green bean flavor is not super strong or concentrated, but it's definitely there. I'm not a huge fan of green beans, I like them OK as a side vegetable, but they're not my favorite, so I was a little worried these would be too strong, but they're not.

Two thumbs up!

Sadly, they don't seem to be especially GOOD for you--130 cal/serving, 4 servings/bag (I'd say that's probably not toooo far off--3 would be more realistic, maybe 2 if you were really hungry but they seem fairly filling). 4.5 g fat, because the second ingredient is canola oil, but no saturated fat. 20 g carbs, 4 g fiber, 5 g sugar (?), 2 g protein. 15% of your vitamin A.

My apartment got loads better today. They delivered a brand new washer! Yippee! Fixed the slow draining tub (like 10 minutes to drain from a shower slow!), fixed the garbage disposal, and got the wheel thingies for the dishwasher bottom rack. Now to do loads of laundry! Oh boy do I know how to live large on a Friday night!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My kids love those things, meara.
