Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, I'm sure they work. Sorry. I just have a really crappy connection, and no pictures will load.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Heh. Sorry, I was actually just frustrated with something work related at the same moment.

ETA: Thanks, Scrappy!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love the last one, BTW, but that's a hard haircut to wear. I have tried it several times, and it is very hard to keep it from crossing the line from "sassy and now" to "just left the convent this morning".

Also, on me, it tends to make my face All About The Giant Nose, which is not a good look.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

ND, I am so sorry for your loss, and happy that your dad's passing was so peaceful.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hair query: I am thinking about getting this haircut tomorrow. Thoughts?

Cute! It's a layered bob, which is a very flexible and forgiving haircut. Very similar to the cut I was pimping to amych when she went from shoulder length to short.

Also, is there any way in hell I can pull this off?

Woo! Nice, cut. As Scrappy notes, it's less forgiving. You could look aces, but the first time you roll out of the house in sweatpants and no makeup to run to the store you're going to feel on the negative side of plain.

Also, on me, it tends to make my face All About The Giant Nose, which is not a good look.

I love your nose.

Sweet! I printed it out and will show the stylist.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Drew, I'm so sorry.

I think it's cute.

Huh, I wonder if I should find some reference pix for my haircut appointment on Saturday. I don't *really* need to, because Anna is very good at what she does, but looking at haircut photos is fun.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jilli, here is the search results for Long, Black, Straight Hairstyles at UK Hairdressers.

Not for you, but I do love this look.

Classic.

Looks like heavy bangs are still in, layers are slowly moving out, curls and waves are in, and height on top is in.

Feel free to get out your ratting comb.
