All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm glad he had you all with him, Drew.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It was peaceful and quick. He wanted to come home the the hospital and he did. He was at home and we were all here and got to spend time with him today. He was comfortable most of the day and went quickly tonight. It's really all I could have asked for. I will miss him.

I know you will miss him terribly but this sounds like the most peaceful possible way to let him go.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm so sorry, Drew.

Trudy, if you're still up, can you get on IM for a minute?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Drew}} My sympathies to you and your family. I am glad his passing was as peaceful as it was, but any passing sucks, so my thoughts are with you and yours.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift
