Woo Hoo! Cruise!
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah. This one shouldn't be as bad the the Disney cruise was, and Kristin gets to come along for one of the cruises (I do two back to back 7 day cruises.)
Yay, cruise, and yay, new job.
Yay AL! Apparently the Ichiro profanity mojo is still working!
Yay for Trudy's job, and for Kristin getting to join ND on a cruise!
And I'm on pace to write 80 pages this month (my average is around 65), so yay me!
Yeah, we're pretty excited about it, she gets to come essentially for free. We're getting her flight with FF miles and it's a minor fuel surcharge that we have to pay for her to go along.
I don't think I've had the chance to {{{ND}}}. And fuck cancer for all it does and all those it takes away from us.
In notcursingthedarkness stuff, I've found an interesting parallel to ND's job in the husband of one of my managers at the bookstore. He's a professional stage fighter/jouster/stuntman who is currently in Majorca training locals to fight and joust in a new Medieval Times location. Leslie, the B&N manager, just got back from a week out there, which was a little disappointing because he was so busy the entire time she was there, which she expected. However, she also has tons of ideas for the owners of the place who are not the best of marketers and the place is not doing too well right now as a result. She's tempted to try and get a three-month contract with them to get their sales team in place, but it's hard to coordinate what with the Xmas season coming up at the bookstore. That, and the fact that she doesn't speak Spanish.
And I'm on pace to write 80 pages this month (my average is around 65), so yay me!you need more All Star Games!
I just walked by George Clinton being wheeled into the terminal I was leaving. Yep, I'm back in LA.
I'm pretty pleased about the new job.
Hang in there, Drew.
I saw Fuerzabruta tonight [link] A friend and former castmate is in it. (He was in De La Guarda as well -- dude, he can fly) I can not recommend it highly enough and you should try and see it if you get to NYC.
