[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Annabel is too cute, and she has such shiny shiny hair! Is it thick? It looks like it's crazy thick.

It's pretty thick--unfortunately, she got my tangle-prone hair and tender head, hence my leaving it in such a low-maintenance style. She can get something fancier when she's old enough to care, and hopefully old enough to style it herself!

I bet with the new bra, it's KILLER.

It totally is. I was going to buy shirts, then bra, but concluded on my first trip to the fitting room that wasn't such a good plan. So I left the pants I'd already picked with the nice helpful Lane Bryant staffer, went to Nordy's for the bra (because the Northgate LB doesn't carry large cup sizes in stock) and then went back to LB, wearing the new bra. It was such an improvement in looks and comfort that the bra fitter suggested clipping the tag off of it so I could wear it out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

[link] LOLbeard. And the best thing is, I don't even have to type out my snark, I know y'all will come up with the same ones.

I am amused that the Energizer Rechargeable batteries I have are NIMH and Energizer mascot is a rabbit.

Fitting and scary. I've said it before, maybe that's the yet another Secret of NIMH...

What's even more amusing is the way Daniel voices the H in NIMH. It sounds wayyyyy too much like nymph. And then he starts talking about bunnies. t /twelve years old

The status is NOT quo.

I'm very sorry the neighbors are being annoying, Drew. I hope they quiet down soon so you can sleep.

Speaking of, I should have been asleep at least an hour ago, but my brain won't shut up. I hate insomnia. Kate set me up on a comfy air mattress, so I have no excuse. Well, other than her kitty, Worthington, who has decided that any bed on the floor is clearly his bed and any feet sticking out are clearly kitty toys. He's very cute. Sharp kitty claws, though.

D, I meant to say earlier, so many congrats on your marathon completion! I'm very impressed.

Susan, I'm thrilled you found a bra that fits. That's an awesome feeling, isn't it?

Blah. Should try to sleep again. On the up side, there's a beautifully cool breeze blowing through the window on me. Feels excellent.

Mostly lurking...

Susan, I did that about a month ago--granted, not at Nordie's, but still. I had NO idea I was wearing SUCH the wrong size and bra. Amazing what a difference a bra can make...

{{{Drew}}} I hope they quieted down so you can get some sleep.

Anyone up about about? I need someone to take a quick look at a one-page post for my BatB blog. I wouldn't care, but it's a tribute to my parents' 35th anniversary, and I really don't want any typos, etc.
