I'm so glad you saw your dad, Drew. Try and get some rest.
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sleep, Drew. Mission accomplished. So relieved for you.
Oh, Drew, so glad you made it there. Thank goodness.
Connie, that's gotta be weird and strange making. Just remember no matter what happens, you have your life, and they and their reactions good or bad won't take that away from you.
My late evening (um, v. goodness with the girl) was much better than my morning and afternoon (migraine), so I'm hoping that means the evil of the day was over by midnight eastern, and turned a corner then, and my good evening was pacific time and all. If that's making any sense. Um.
Drew, I'm glad that you were able to see your dad and hopefully, you're sleeping right now. Connie, I understand family weirdness all too well. Whatever ~ma is needed is going your way.
Connie, much peace to you.
Drew, I'm so glad you made it in safe and sound. Hang in there.
movers are here!!!
YAY! Good luck, o_a!
{{{Drew}}} I'm glad you're there and able to see your dad. ~ma to you and yours.
{{{Connie}}} I'm sorry for your loss. Peace~ma to you and your family.
My house smells of baking pumpkin muffins. Nice.
Drew and Connie, I hope you were able to sleep well. All kinds of peace and coping thoughts sent your way.
Yay for stuff getting moved in!
Drew, I'm glad you got to see your dad.
Connie, I know what it's like to not know how to feel when a parent dies. By the time my dad died, he had put us through so much that I was long past loving him, and then he was in a terrible state of pain and helplessness for the last years of his life. I could only feel relief, but I felt guilty about it. My mother was able to cry, but she recognized that she was finally crying about the loss of the man she loved, who had left us long ago. I hope going home for the funeral helps you come to terms with your past.
