Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just spent an hour getting the inside door panel off of Andi's 1990 caprice. WHAT A PAIN.

It was bad enough I had to buy a $5 tool in order to get the crank handle off, but I had to remove over a dozen screws and two rivets to even get to where I *might* be able to replace the handle.

(Separate rant for insane GM engineers: WTF were you thinking making door handles need a special tool to get off? Ford does well enough with a single Phillips screw, why couldn't you?)

Don't get me started on the whole "lets put the seat belt mechanism in the door so that if someone opens it while driving, they'd fall right out onto the ground."

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

~ma, Drew. I'm so sorry.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Much ~ma, Drew.

I still haven't owned my first car. In high school, I drove my parents' Camry, but I've never had a car of my own. If I end up getting a job somewhere that I need a car, I plan to get a Mini Cooper.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, fuck, Drew. I'm so glad you were able to get a flight, and may he hang on until you get there. My love to you and yours.

Plei says it well. I am glad you got a quick flight back and I hope things are as easy and painless as possible. Will be thinking of you.

My first car was a Ford EXP.

My second car, and first new car, is my poor, abused, beloved and faithful Escort.

It's eleven years old. I'm hoping to get maybe one or two more years out of it, and look at buying something new(ish... not sure I'll ever buy a brand new car again, as fun as it is).

The only problem is, apparently, my Michigan title never made it into my stuff when I moved out here, so I never transfered the title to CA. Not that I suppose I'd get much for it. I have not taken the best care of my car.

Right now that's my biggest hope for him. If this is it, please let it be quick and as painless as possible.

Amen, brother-- thinking good thoughts for you.
