Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh. Parental squeeage -- I can't imagine the eye rolliness of it.

Allyson, I do love the Very Sexy bras from VS, but I like my boobs to be hiked up to my chin and encased in 8 layers of steel. YBMV.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Girlie, I distinctly remember burning you all the Lyle Lovett I had, lo these many years ago (possibly before you moved into your current abode). Wha' happened?

I have zero recollection of this at all, I'm ashamed to say. Or... maybe? But I have no idea where. Maybe it got separated from the other CDs and ended up in a box at my dad's house, or maybe it was one of the smoke-damaged things that got tossed after the Berkeley apartment building caught fire, or for all I know it's been absorbed into Hec's music collection and is sitting on a shelf at home right now, plain as day.

In short, something has clearly eaten my brain.

“Not dead yet!”

In short, something has clearly eaten my brain.

Kids will do that to you.

And yes, Erin, there is much eye-rollage going on. I'm sitting in a Starbucks as I type because I had to escape after 45 minutes of squeeage and three references to how I'm "Stubborn as a mule, just like your father."

ACK

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Ha! Every time I'm feeling like I gotta get out of dodge, I check airfare to SEATAC.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend the Night Safari. STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY.

I think this shall be done. MY plans at the moment are Night Safari Wednesday night, Jurong Bird Park Thursday. Here's my quandary, for I have heard good things about Singapore Zoo, but the bird park looks awesome too (they have hummingbirds! A plethora of parrots! King penguins! Every species of pelican!), and I doubt I can fit both in.

When are you going? (I'm going to be visiting Singapore with friends in early August. Don't suppose there's any chance our visits overlap? 'Cause an Australasian mini-F2F at Raffles over Singapore Slings would be awesome.)

It would! But I'm going, um, next week. I don't suppose you're expecting to find yourself in Singapore in five days' time?

Oh, man, Tep, you had to go and remind me (a) how much I love Lyle Lovett, and (b) despite (a), I own absolutely nothing of his, not one single song. What is the matter with me?

Hee. I finished one of Wallybee's CDs with Mr Lovett. Penguins, of course.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I doubt I can fit both in.

Well then, your meetings will just have to go.

They're so sensitive!

Ooh, this is the kind of thinking that made America great.

I think Virgin may be your best bet for decent prices.
