Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hec and I have the same Simpson faves. Oh, and of course I like the one with "Do you think I'm handsome, Marge?" but that is a total KO-fangirl thing. Hi, Barb!

“Not dead yet!”

I see absolutely nothing wrong with potato chips and dip for dinner. Especially when PMS is involved. I, on the other hand, have been stress eating my way through my house. Luckily, I expected the stress eating, so I stocked up on Quaker Rice Cakes, pretzel chips, low-fat cheese sticks, Greek yogurt (which is really good with the strawberry preserves) and peanut butter M&Ms.

But luckily, the reason for the stress-eating should be done with so I can go back to eating like a normal person.

So you poked, ever so gently. Because after I pulled my head out of my self-absorbed, stressed out ass, I realized I had desperately been missing conversing regularly with everyone too.

ETA: Hi, Erika!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, we are one in PMS and chip eating tonight!

Awesome! Later on there will be hair dye, and perhaps Sweeney Todd.

Our wings are not tired.

I realized I had desperately been missing conversing regularly with everyone too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Awesome! Later on there will be hair dye, and perhaps Sweeney Todd.

Are you still using henna? I wonder if I could get a colorists to do henna. I'm still afraid to color my own hair. I still need to buy the Sweeney Todd DVD too. Is there more ASH on the DVDs?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hi, Barb! Welcome! I know I've seen you around LJ, and it's nice to have you here.

Are you still using henna?

Nope, I went back to box color. Box color that I buy from Whole Foods and is less toxic than regular drugstore dyes, mind you, but it's still box color. The indigo wasn't giving me a long-lasting enough blueblack.

I wonder if I could get a colorists to do henna. I'm still afraid to color my own hair.

I have no idea if you could get a colorist to do henna; it would be expensive, tho', because henna takes a long time to work with.

I still need to buy the Sweeney Todd DVD too. Is there more ASH on the DVDs?

Nope, not more ASH. But lots of Tim Burton Victoriana and blood, which is exactly what I'm in the mood for.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think I have two different types of cherry trees in my yard.

This based on the fact that the ones in front are bright red, and the ones in back look like standard issue Bing or Related ones.

Also, the ones in front are sour.

Had I a ladder, I could totally make pie...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Plei, I have sour cherries that my sister brought be from my other sister's tree. They are already pitted and waiting in my fridge to do a pie. I was just googling for pie crust recipes. Considering an all-butter crust since I picked up a pound of fresh butter at the cheese factory on Saturday.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi Barb, I feel like I've seen you around LJ.

I am so dang tired, no idea why. Franny and Isaac actually went to daycare today as I changed their sched for summer so Franny could have daycare-provided swimming lessons. I love our daycare. But why am I so dang tired?

I have envy of your cherry trees Plei. Go get yourself a ladder, go! I think I'm going to plant a fruit tree in our backyard once we get to the point of planting trees. We had an apricot tree and an avocado tree when I was growing up and I still mourn them.
