I have to admit that he isn't very creative and doesn't force me to see the best cut for my head.
Kirsten is good at taking what you ask for and telling you what will and won't work.
BARB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least the A's have an All-Star pitcher this year.
Just signed CJ up for Karate classes - 3 group classes a week and 1 private lesson. I hope it helps him meet kids and get some excess energy out.
Then the Scorpio episode supplanted it
"Sorry it's not in packets. Do you want any cream?"
the one where Lisa trips at ... Duffland, is it?
Ha! I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN!!!!
The one where Sideshow Bob marries ... Patty? (or the other one?)
Uh, I totally can't rememeber which sister he marries.
Is that also the one with the rake?
That was the fantabulous Cape Fear takeoff. Although after that, I'm pretty sure the rake became a running gag.
You know, *any* episode with Sideshow Bob is a winner in my book.
Jesus, you'd think I'd fried my brains with a lot of drugs over the years, given my memory.
What?
Nothing. Nothing a'tall... ::whistles::
Teppy, thank The Boy and thank you, darling. :smoochies::
"Sorry it's not in packets. Do you want any cream?"
"Ye...uh, no..."
t backs away slowly
I'm still not sure they ever topped the Treehouse of Horror where Kang and Kodos run for President, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.
[eta: And naturally, typing the word "tree" just now has earwormed me with the song at the end of the one where Lisa becomes an environmental activist because she's in love with Pacey. This log, it used to be a tree / now it spreads joy to you and me / oh, look! It's heading out to sea!]
Yes, Sideshow Bob is always a win, for me. The first time I saw the rake gag, I nearly choked myself laughing, mostly because I couldn't actually believe they had the balls to take it that far.
::gropes Barb some more. For Tep's Boy, of course. Since he's not here. Just trying to help out where I can::
Because it was so completely delicious, I'm going to be Hec for a minute and post what I made for dinner:
3 strips prosciutto, roughly chopped
1 tbps butter
1/2 onion, diced
freshly ground black pepper
1 cute little yellow squash, cubed (CSA!)
1/2 bunch arugula, coarsely chopped and copiously washed to remove grit and caterpillars(CSA!)
2-3 tbsp basil, coarsely chopped
2 eggs, beaten with a splash of cream
parmesan cheese, grated
Into a 10-inch nonstick skillet in the order listed. Didn't add the eggs until the veggies were very slightly browned and the squash and arugula had shrunk a bit. Grate cheese directly on top of everything. Cover just long enough to cook the top of the eggs. SO. VERY. YUM.
How much does my TiVo love me? It asked me if I wanted to change channels and record
The Princess Bride.
♥ TiVo.
