Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Do any of you like the song "Misty Blue" by Dorothy Moore? It is probably my all time favorite ballad, and no one ever seems to know it.

I'm getting the pig!

Oh dear. I'm sorry, juliana! I should've pointed out that I definitely wasn't wanting to nag at anyone and I wasn't trying to be all Thread Cop Nicole. Honest! My post was more along the lines of waving my Whine Equality sign around.

I'll readily admit that I'm very touchy about Whine Equality after being friends with someone for many years who couldn't hold down a job and wanted to blame everyone else for her problems. I was this Evil Insensitive Bitch if I had the NERVE to claim to be broke or complain that my mortgage was killing me or whine about... well, anything. My life was supposed to be *perfect* because I had things that she didn't and that meant that I couldn't whine about anything. EVER!

Ahem. Yeah. Touchy. Sorry.

So... how about them (insert sport team name here)?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So... how about them (insert sport team name here)?

Hee! When Suzi texted me from the Rockies game last weekend, she (or the phone) called them the Rookies. I laughed and laughed....

smishes Nicole

The Giants???? They're 5 games back! And ahead of the purple and black, last I looked. ;)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

So... how about them (insert sport team name here)?

I really wish they'd gotten rid of the stupid argyle uniforms when they changed sponsors. But thanks for thinking of it!!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The Cubs? Let's hope that they continue winning, especially considering the bottom half of the season has them on the road a lot, where they currently have a losing record (compared to the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field).

Yeah, after I sent that I realized my typo and just shook my head at myself. MAN, that was a FUN game.

Wait! Were we talking about the Packers? Well, this whole "Is Bret gonna return??" is just silliness. Rodgers is good, but he needs to not be so... prickly? Dude, these fans out of all fans are entitled to their sense of ownership in the team. I get that the constant Favre wittering is draining, but still. A little charm wouldn't hurt ya. The defense, as always, is looking superb, and they added some depth to the receiving line. All in all, it looks like it could be a great season, but I'll be watching the pre-season games like a hawk (Aug. 11, baybee!!).
