btw, today is day one in my new office. New boss man is not in today. The three boxes of files and other office stuff that was supposed to be sent over a week ago from my old office have not made it here yet. AND I really need to bring in my iPod - these guys use their speaker phones too much and doors not enough.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm thinking they are balking because of the I-9. If they just need to notarize the statement (an affidavit is what I'm thinking), then don't even show them the I-9. The notary only needs to see the affidavit, if that is what they sent you.
I think the problem is that the I-9 itself is supposed to be done in person, and they're trying to find a way around that.
This can't be an unusual situation though - there's got to be a better solution out there somewhere.
Not his fault - I just got sucked in. It was the part where
Oooh, yeah. You're in the good part. It takes 400 pages for the book to get REALLY good, but the last 200 are worth it.

Yay, trip! I hope you're loving your new job, Aimee. You deserve it.
I'm home and bored. I want my vacation back as well as the AC. I think I really really need to find a part time job.
Kristin, yuck. I have no advice to offer but my eyes are rolling on your behalf.

Oooooh, yeah. I spent the weekend re-reading all the William Gibson books I have. Started out with Pattern Recognition, and it went on from there.
Kristin, that is a really frustrating situation, especially with everything else you have going on. I hope you can work it out with minimal effort on your behalf.
juliana! ::tackle hug::
I've never read any Wm Gibson.
