[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The IRS website has info on when to expect your stimulus check. They are doing it by the last two digits of your social.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Thanks Victor, the funny thing is, the letter is dated 5/27, and it says to "expect your check by May 30th". Hmm. Thanks for the 3 day notice. Oh, and since I got the note on Saturday, and today is the 26th... how did you send it back in time???? Crazy I tell ya.

OK, I should be cleaning. Really. I'm gonna start now.

Thrive to spite them

Omnis - I know! I kept looking at bbq sauce, HFCS was the first ingredient in a whole bunch and not even the big names a bunch of smaller names.

I spent $60 at the grocery store and barely bought anything. Well $25 or so of that was razor blades and catfood. $9 for three blades! I need to find a cheaper alternative.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

{{{hugs}}} on family issues, Stephanie.

omnis, we got the letter notifying us we'd be receiving our stimulus payment three days AFTER the direct deposit hit our account. Great use of paper/postage, US government!

Annabel was the Queen of Crankiness from late morning through lunch, but now she's taking a nap beside me on the couch and looks all sweet and beautiful now that she's not, you know, whining and demanding something with every breath.

She's saying she doesn't want to go to the game tonight because she has a stomachache, an obviously fake one since it only comes up when we talk about going to the game and she's eating normally and showing no symptoms. My response, "Yeah, I know. The Mariners make me feel that way this season, too. But Felix is pitching, which can be good. And if it isn't this time, Manny might hit 500, and I promised some of my Boston friends we'd post pictures if he does. And besides, we skipped the last game, and we want to see our friends from our section. So you'll get over it."

Trust my rage

Thanks, everyone. I hope maybe this event will be the bottom for my cousin and he will find his way back from here.

ION, I don't think our check is ever coming. Supposedly, it will be mailed June 6th. We shall see.

I was starting to get worried about my DC tax return. Got it in the mail the other day.

On the other hand, they said six to eight weeks to get my title transferred from DC to Washington State, for my car. I think it's now been closer to twelve. No title for my car. This is starting to worry me. It's a hell of a lot more money than the damn tax return. Where the fuck is my title? I need to figure out who to call.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just had Tofurky beer brats for dinner. Never had them before, but they were pretty good. I had mine with mustard and sauerkraut. My father had his with ketchup, which just seems wrong.

Mustard and sauerkraut is THE way to eat brats.
