Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

VERY cool, Meara!

When I was in DC, BJ and I were in the metro station, admiring a pair of boots on another passenger. When we met up with other DC-istas for dinner we discovered that Raq was attached to those boots.

I have the cable hooked up to the tv. The internet is working and my new sheets are in the dryer. Once CJ and I make beds, I'm call it done for the day.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

OMG I AM JEALOUS OF TWO PEOPLE HAVING KATE P IN THE SAME DAY!!

Just picture a missionary who substitutes "Balmer" for "Paradise" or "The Lord" and you got it, Bug. (Somewhere there's a Homicide joke about John Munch, season 3, episode 16, in there too, but I can't find it right now.) I know it's too much, but I can't stop. JZ, if DS *were* my husband, you know I'd have warned him off those Dostoeyvsky comments, right?(Producer DS, not *your* DS.) Cause Dostoyevsky scares most people, and scared people switch to "Friends" reruns, sweetie. Hello? Whenever he'd get going on that, I swear I could hear the channels clicking, but even fake marriages have lots of compromise.) Unless FD did write a scene composed of obscenities. Let me know.

psst. KateP is stalking Meara. Pass it on.

Also, omnis, no fair leaving the state before any of the Bayistas even made it down there to verify your existence! (I mean, sure, Kristin and ND will vouch for you, but they're shifty.)
Hello, What about Megan Walker? And Polter-Cow? And how about SeanK? Laga? erin_O? I AM REAL! (really behind in cleaning/packing that is)

What we need is for y'all to follow me to Dallas. If we get enough open minded folks, maybe we'll turn Dallas Blue.. or Green! Think of it. Land is cheap. We could all go in on bit of prairie, and cut a moat, and BAM Buffista Isle! Or a commune. Prom every Friday (or first Friday of the month, so it doesn't get old). Just an idea folks. Brainstorming here. Spitballing ideas.

I believe the major Texan cities are already blue. It's the rest of the state that's a problem.

How pissed must James Garner be that Maverick has started to mean John McSame? Mr. Garner is a big ol' Okie Democrat, so much so that he had a script rewritten to not be about Repubs.

We make more Buffistas, and send them out into the world of Texas. Mwahahaha!

um. Ok. Who ever says "if you haven't gone through the box since last you moved, just toss it" would have cost me $50! Seems the box from the desk-o-silly-lil-papers-no-time-slip-all-into-box-go-thru-later contained a $50 Amex gift cheque.

Um. Do Amex Gift Cheque's go bad? I don't see any expiration date on it. How does one use it? CRAZY I say.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hooray for Kate P sightings!

flaily hands of glee

Pretty much sums it up for me!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Timelies, all! I just met Smonster and Amyth for margaritas and various things involving salsa and guacamole, and as they discussed the F2F I remembered how much I liked and missed the Buffistas. I sort of went through a bad patch after Mom died and while my localista friends were able to drag me out of the apartment now and again, I pretty much cut down my online stuff to lj (more blurty, less interacting and pretending to be human).

Anyway, I got another job, moved to another apartment, and I've taken up running (however slowly).

I hope y'all have been doing well.
