Suzi, definitely avoid unpacking for one night. You deserve some rest.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
askye-
My mom's cat got diagnosed with the same exact thing about 6 months ago. She chose to give him the thyroid medicine, and they keep doing tests to assess the right balance-- I think she is down to 1/2 a pill every other day. He is doing fairly well.
unpacking? Wait. So. Once I get all this shit packed, then there is something about UNPACKING it. Have I mentioned I hate moving.
o_a, you can have it for about five minutes.Ha! That explains where I got the burst of energy to lug out a ton of magazines. Now tired. thirsty. So much cooler at night. Thanks for the 5! let me know when you go to bed, and I'll borrow the productivity then. I promise to leave a full tank in the morning for ya.
I approve of you, omnis_audis.Aw blush!
I approve of you, too!Double blush.
OK, moving question. So. Um. Board games. They don't seem to fit in any of the off the shelf moving boxes. They fit in a huge one, but I do not have enough games to fill one of those, and then it'd be half empty. Thoughts? Advice? Them things are about 2" too long I tell you. Grrr.
Huge box, and fill around the edges with lightweight stuff (comforters are my fave, although moving from LA to Dallas it strikes me that you may not have a whole lot of those around either.)
Edited to close parens.
Good grief! Where is everyone? So quiet in here today...
Got back a short while ago from my gyn visit, which was slightly less fun than lisah's, as it turns out that the first visit after turning 40 comes with an extra-special bonus exam that is NO FUN AT ALL. I also have a lab slip for blood work (never had my cholesterol checked before) and a mammogram appointment for next Saturday.
I would much rather have been here, Bitching and Nattering away, I tell you what. But I was all grown-up and shit and took care of all my dreary grown-up business.
Suzi, you are not shirking your unpacking. This is because there is no unpacking to do because you are still in California. Don't you DARE tell me any different.
Also, omnis, no fair leaving the state before any of the Bayistas even made it down there to verify your existence! (I mean, sure, Kristin and ND will vouch for you, but they're shifty.)
And (((askye))) The land of worrisome credit and sick kitties and family stress is a horrible place to be.

Oh, {{{askye}}}

Um, hello?!? I just was down there for Memorial Day weekend! Although, to be fair, I am also shifty.
Did you take any of the rest of us down with you? No, you did not.
Shifty.
::leaves omnis in "unverified" column::
Well, that was fun and probably bound to happen. I just had to crate one of the dogs. There was a major power struggle, and while trying to break it up, I was almost bit. YAY.
And now I go to bed because I have to be up at 3am to take a friend to the airport. Why do I agree to all this?
