Yay for good dates with the making out!
Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Go meara! Sounds fun!
Toto update: He seems totally fine. I'll call the vet this morning, but he's hanging out with the dogs and doing fine.
in my packing, and going through boxes from the last move, I came across the photo I took of the towers back in college. The time a group of us were going to the Statue of Liberty, and they wanted to go up to the observation deck, but I knew if we did, we'd miss our ferry to Ellis & Liberty Islands. And I remember saying "They will always be there, who knows how much longer Ellis Island will still be open", and I still feel pangs about it to this day.
Sometimes having a good memory really sucks.
I also found the instructions to take apart my corner desk! Maybe I will save it after all.
Yay for Meara and make out! (I'd have let her won... well, maybe not. That's tough for me to do. Too competitive).
Yay for Toto being ok. Good thing you followed your instinct and saved CarrotBaconDude's $60.
off to bed now.
Oh, o_a, that's kind of gut-wrenching. Have you been packing all night?
In dog news, I just went and picked up my parents' dog for the day, so now I have five! Yes, I am insane. Why do you ask?
ya, its a lot cooler at night. Easier to pack and not go mad from the heat. This apartment really does suck for air movement. Why did I live here for 8 years?!?!
Ah, I see. That makes perfect sense.
And in other news (literally), [link]
This is why I don't read/watch the news. Most of it just makes me so ill and furious with our world.
Just talked to one of the vet techs. She's actually a bit concerned and is paging the vet (who won't be in for a little while yet). Great. And I need to leave in 45 minutes for therapy. Blech.
Oh ugh, vw. I'm sure she's just being cautious.
Hey parents - what's a good book for a 1 year-old that they probably don't have already? (The invitation said no presents, but they bought a present for Dylan at his birthday less than a month ago, so I'd feel really weird showing up completely empty-handed. So I figure a book is a good compromise - it's not plastic, it won't create clutter, and it will probably be under $10.)
Hmm, I don't have specific book recommendations, but I've had good success with kiddos going googly-eyed/hypnotizedish at books with illustrations by Lois Ehlert.
vw, the vet tech is being cautious, just as Jessica says. Signed, I've taken my pup to a neurologist and an orthopedist in the past 2 months, but can't get myself to the dentist.
