I don't know much about photgraphy. There was just a long thread in BuffistaTech where people tried to explain to me what an f-stop was. I'm just going to nod and say, “What Jessica said.”

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, GC! You will be a beautiful bride!
But ... you take awesome pictures!
(I have no idea what an f-stop is. I had a good 35 mm that I never figured out to use except for on auto.)
Yay for GC and her DF!
But ... you take awesome pictures!
I just go Ooooh, pretty! and point the camera at it. I have no idea what I'm doing.

Yeah, but you've got a much better instinctive eye for composition than I do. Whatever you do or don't know about the mechanics behind it, you take really good pictures.
Amy, if you don't have any photo editing software on your desktop, I've heard good things about Photoshop Express.
In that case, Tom, you have a seriously good eye for the "ooooh, pretty".

You have the eye. What they call a natural talent. All that tech stuff you can read in a book.
Loved the what are you wearing conversation I missed out on earlier.
Thank, Jess. That looks perfect for me.
Tom, totally what they said. Really. Your doorway pictures are fabulous.
Oh GC, what wonderful news! Congrats!
Erin, trust me--you would be a fabulous creative writing teacher. You know how to ignite the imagination of students, and you know how to give supportive, critical feedback. You're also mad motivated and creative yourself, and I have a feeling you'd put together a great class lit mag. Also, I have taught CW a number of years and have a ton of assignments/grading formats etc. that you would be more than welcome to. Also, also? Being a writer and being a teacher are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Students don't need Pulitzer winners--they need someone who can help them find their voice. A lot of writers have no idea how to teach writing because writing is just intuitive for them. Writing teachers have to be able to help kids get into the nitty gritty and then let them blossom from there. I have no doubt you could do that. I also happen to think that being a writer is not contingent upon publication, and you are both writer AND teacher. Okay, pep talk done now. Getting off soapbox.
vw, it sounds like one dose isn't going to be a problem. I would call your regular vet during office hours tomorrow just to find out for sure, but I think Toto will be just fine.
Tom, you may not know what you're doing, but you have a helluva eye for photos.
