Glad for that clarification, billytea.
bug, I wouldn't call poison control. I'd just try to talk to a vet and see what's necessary.
Also, I think Erin should move to Bangkok and teach there and have ribald adventures with Fay.
River ,'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vw - if I remember lo those many years ago when I worked for a vet. The things to look for are excessive thirst, hyperactivity, excessive urination, excessive hunger and big personality changes. I'm pretty sure there's not that much to worry about. Keep an eye on him.
Erin, you know good writing, though! (And you *do* write.) Even if you haven't written Pulitzer-winning novels, I think you can still talk about what makes good writing work, using examples. You can totally do it.
Totally agree with this wholeheartedly.
vw, if dog thyroid meds are anything like human ones, it takes about 6 weeks to build up the dosage in your body. One dose is extremely unlikely to cause any problems.
vw, I would just keep an eye on him. Maybe call the vet in the AM just to ease your mind.

That's the sense I'm getting, so I'm going to take *my* meds and chill. Really. Any second now.
