Well, I do not intend to be doing more than making out, so I don't anticipate sand being a problem....
The question then becomes WHICH beach...Golden Gardens? Which is bigger and has an off leash dog area? Or Denny Blaine, which is closer and traditionally gay, but small?
And...what, besides picnic and make out, does one DO, at the beach?? We have already discussed (via watching people play it at the park) how we are both extremely bad at Frisbee.

people watch, walk the dog or play catch with dog and some drift wood, fly a kite, build a sand castle, enjoy the sand between your toes.

They prolly make a beach version of Scrabble.
go to REI, buy [link] and the needed supplies to make this work. Make ice cream at the beach (will involve rolling the ball back and forth to each other). Then eat said ice cream together! Wheee! Yum. Nothing says bonding like making something together. And how cool is it to make ice cream at the beach!?!

Gronk. I'm up and dressed and even semi-awake. The electrician is supposed to be here soon to fix some things in the apartment. I hope he shows up on time, because then I have to run around finishing up all of my trip errands.
We had Victor over for dinner and Trivial Pursuit last night which was much fun. This apartment is so much better for entertainment; we should really do it more often.
