Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Oh noes, Kristin! Doggy-ma.

Oh, and WindSparrow sorry Harvey didn't take well to the new clippers. Bad kitty-mommy feelings are horrible, even if they're not true.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Crap, Kristin. Gah. Crap. Poor babies!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh Kristin, I'm so sorry! I know how much it broke your heart leaving them behind in the first place.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm sorry to hear that, Kristin.

I can kind of understand that he doesn't want to keep kenneling them when he's gone. I end up feeling so guilty when I have to board my kittens, especially on successive trips.

eta: Not that it makes it any less painful because I know you were heartbroken to leave them.

Haircut. (For comparison: last week, long and scraggly.)

Also, it appears that walking while reading runs in the family.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks, everyone.

I understand why he is doing it. He's apparently decided to start renting a small apartment in Minneapolis as a second home, and he needs he extra cash to pay for that; plus, he's away too much. I get it. It just sucks to love my dogs so much and desperately want them with me and feel utterly powerless to do anything as they go off to live with someone else. I may never see them again.

2008 can bite me. I'm just...done. I can't do this.

All is well that ends in pizza.

That sucks, Kristin.

I hope there is some way to resolve it so you get visitation rights, at least.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm so sorry, Kristin. That does suck, horribly.

Our wings are not tired

Yeah, the universe can back off any time now.
