There is also the magic of cheese. My best method has been using one of those syringe-like pillers, which put the pill into the throat so the pet can't spit it out, plus when the cat bites, it's biting plastic and not you.

Not exactly. My ultrasounds (which, granted, were to measure my ovarian cyst) said I had one fibroid. When they opened me up, they found five additional small ones. My surgery ended up being about 3 times as long as they thought.
