But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Wait, Dana is leaving Texas?

How? Why? How?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Someone doesn't read Beep Me...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Because I did something awful.

Yes, I was just coming in to say I should maybe just read Beep Me more often.

Impocerous!

Then why am I still at work? And why must Dana leave Texas before I've gotten to visit her? And why do I have to go pick up corner bakery at 11 tomorrow?

I seem to have wronged the universe somehow.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I am not getting any packing done today it seems. Oy. It seems one of my good friends here in CA has a sister that lives in the Dallas area, and she was all happy to meet me. She went to visit my new house and called me right away.

"there are homeless cleaning windshields at the end of the block. That is two houses down from where you live. I saw a cop passing by and talked to him, and he was saying "this is a rough stretch of Gaston, you really don't want someone new to the city here".

YIKES! PLAN B! PLAN B!

So, instead of living in a cute renovated building with a small footprint/Melrose feel, I'm going with one of the ant hill complexes that are known for being safe. Yes, I will feel like a byte of code in a Microsoft Application rather than an Application on a Mac. But.. well. Ah, the joys of moving via the internet.

Stress... um.. ya. And I still haven't had lunch. Uggg.

serial (again)

So, Dana? Will you still be in Dallas when I get there? Or complete non-overlap? I'm hoping to arrive July 10 or 11.

Our wings are not tired

No real news yet. They did a needle biopsy of his liver today, so we are waiting on results from that. There's a 7cm mass in one of his lungs and apparently some kind of mass in his brain as well. I think the doctors are trying to get a bunch of information together and then we'll get an idea of how bad a shape we are in. From the sounds of things it may not be good.
