My tummy is much more okay than it has been, but that might be largely due to me not eating very much. But I will have fresh seafood tonight, by god!

I paddled around in the ocean for a couple of hours today (well, I probably paddled for maybe half an hour, and then hung out under an umbrella for the rest of the time, taking pictures and watching half of The Boy's family members dig holes in the sand. No, really. It's a thing.

And I just realized that somewhere in my house is a remarkably cool present I got for you two years ago, which languished on a shelf at work waiting to be mailed out and then got forgotten completely in the wake of the bedrest, the maternity leave, and the job search and all. But I'm 99% certain I still have it, in a location where I can actually put my hands on it and mail it within... um, another two years, maybe?

ION, grrr. I have a ridiculously cute Matilda video on the camera that the home computer won't download for some reason--iPhoto is not recognizing its existence at all--and the work computer can't even attempt to download because somebody deleted iPhoto from it altogether. Which I didn't even know was possible.

Hey, all. I am back from my relaxing and lovely weekend at the river (SO pretty! SOOO cold!) and I wanted to add my concerns and good vibes to ND's dad.

Also, HAPPY TEPPYDAY!! I hope your vaca is pain-free and fun.

Also, I came back to get an interview request!! It's at my number one choice, a private Catholic all-girls school with an excellent repuation and a very short commute (Like, 3 miles.) Interview is at 9 a.m. Wed., so wish me articulateness, charm and quick thoughts!
