I'm in a suite at Dodger Stadium! My final Dodger game. One of the audio rental houses is having appreciation day. Sweet. Er. Suite!

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I bet it's a sweet suite. Is there a nosh table?
lots of nash. DodgerDogs, pulled pork sandwhichs, soda, water, fruit plate, snack food, and apparently a dessert cart in the 7th.
Yes, baseball is an important part of farewell, at least for me. I'll be going to an A's/Giants game the day before we move.
Currently I'm hiding out in a Borders while strangers file through my house and decide, no, I don't want to live here.
Got in an argument with K-Bug before I left the house and now K-Bug, STBX and my mom are all upset with me. CJ is off at a friend's house or I'm sure he'd be tweaked too.
Oh, hon. I'm sorry everyone is on edge and easily agitated. {{{{suz}}}} Hang in there.
{{{{{Suzi}}}}} Come over here and nap on the Vortex of Comfiness.
This last week is going to be tough. Lots to do yet, house not sold, neither mom or STBX has ever been to Denver, K-Bug is all stressed over college and summer and work and I'm trying to keep everyone balanced. HAH!
The Vortex of Comfiness would be wonderful...I wish I could just run away. Unfortunately I have to return to reality in an hour and that is when the real work starts, really clearing and packing and not worrying about keeping things pretty.
I wish I could be strong and say keep your brackets, I don't need no stinkin brackets...and yet I'd much rather bury myself in brackets.
{{{{{Suzi}}}}} Alla my brackets belonga you. And since I currently have the hug proxy t-shirt in my possession, those brackets obviously come with a serious multiplication factor.
hug proxy t-shirt
What is this? I haven't been keeping up in F2F, too bummed at missing out on all that good stuff (though yesterday with Juliana and Lee was pretty awesome). Will likely be a while before I can troll the pictures.
oh Suzi, dang. That sounds really rough. I'm sure this is a stressful time for the whole family. I hope you can all go do some de-stressing stuff soon, whatever that is for each of you, soon!
omnis, that sounds great! glad they appreciate you so!! :)
Of course, I'm about to go to a brunch where she'll be, so we'll see if she acts as though this conversation never took place. Which is ENTIRELY LIKELY. I am prepared for that...
And as I predicted so it came to pass. Or something like that. In fact, I went to the brunch and had a perfectly lovely time (because I enjoy this group of friends). There was fun pictures of two older womens' wedding (they're dancers, but I don't know them well enough to have attended, but most of the crowd did, it was just a few weeks ago). There was explanation of the semi-perjorative use of the word "bougie". There was the discovery that one of the guys from the casino murder mystery party lives half a block away from me. I got to play with the GILF's grandbaby more (he's in that adorable 8 month old interactive stage).
GILF rolled in like, three hours after everyone else, claiming a wicked bad hangover. I'm thinking "You were HOW drunk last night??" Seriously???? Like, (a) you didn't drink all that much last night (like, three beers? *maybe* four? Over the course of four hours?) (b) If you're sooooo hungover this morning, how much does that mean your behavior was affected? (c) Heck, how much does that mean you REMEMBER?
We were never remotely alone during brunch, so I did not get a chance to ask anything of the sort. However, everyone did agree the karaoke last night was much fun, which I was pleased at, since it was my suggestion.
I am tempted to send an email with just something along the lines of "so, given the hangover, how much of Saturday night's conversation should I discount?"
Meanwhile, I should be getting ready for the date I have this evening...
