TCG set the alarm earlyish this morning so he wouldn't stray to far from his weekday sleep pattern making Monday hard for him. The alarm went off, I'm up and he's still asleep. There's something wrong with this scenario.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

To Teppy, I hope the morning finds you much, much better.
To Teppy's Tummy: Cut that Shit OUT.
oh sj. I believe there is a usability problem in TCG's plan.
My amazing primary-care doctor is, as always, amazing. He answered my call (via his office's answering service; I didn't call his house or anything, although he told me once that he has patients who do) within literally 5 minutes.
He said that -- to simplify it -- I have really bad gas that's stuck in a bend of my colon.
"GAS?!? I have gas? I just need to fart and I'll feel better?!?"
Dr: "You could belch, too."
Me: "Okay, gas can lay me out flat for 2 hours?"
Dr. "Hell yes, it can."
So I'm supposed to double up on the gastrointestinal meds I already have, and add GasX (seriously, this is embarassing), and eat more fiber, get more sleep, and relax.
Hopefully the vacation will help with the relaxing and the sleep.
Gas. It's gas. Good lord.
Teppy, did he mention prilosec? That's what sort of helps me.
Teppy, sad to hear of pain, glad its only gas. And yes, gas can double you over in pain. When I had back surgery, I had a pocket of gas that would not move. Oh boy did it hurt. Didn't help that I was immobilized from back surgery, and barely eating, due to the surgery and all. I might also recomend tossing and turning and twisting to help that gas along. And when you release, do not be dainty and polite. Be proud of that gas! For it will be freedom!!!
Teppy, I've always found that lying on my left side is a great reliever of gas pain. It encourages the gas to go somewhere else that is not in your body. Someone told me once that because of the direction of bends in the colon, that's the best way to get rid of gas. It always works for me, but I don't think my gas pain has ever been as severe as yours, so I have no idea of the efficacy in your situation.
I am such a bad skippy girl. All week I kept trying to get in here, but the post counts were so high, and I just skipped.
Oh dear Teppy, does beer make you burp? I hope vacation provides much relaxation and relief.
Tiggy, go you with the productivity.
I need to get productive too. Bobby flew in last night so I have a helper to attack the chore list with me.
Gas pain is HORRIBLE. Seriously. The gas pains I had after my hysterectomy were worse than the incision. Gas-X is your friend.
{{{Teppy}}} I hope you feel better soon!
meara, that sounds fun. And HAWT.
oh ya, forgot to say that when talking about gas pain. Meara, OMG HOT! :: envy ::
