Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Someone tell me it will be okay, please?

quester, if you were skipping a family wedding to do lines of coke off the ass of the hooker you just picked up in Central America, *that* might be a lame reason to miss a family wedding.

But a triple-whammy of respiratory infection, fibromyalgia flare-up, and CFS flare-up is, in fact, a good enough reason to miss whatever you need to. IMO.

Mostly lurking...

Steph says it so much better than I ever could, so I'll just point up.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Steph, you damn funny, woman.

It would, however, at least be a FUN reason to miss a family wedding.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy is wise.

My neighbors upstairs seem to only be here on Fridays and Saturdays. We think they're moving in from across the street, so I don't know why they aren't here more often.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Next year, I swear to GOD. I don't care if I have to sell a kidney. I even lobbied and voted for a later-than-usual F2F this year because I so badly wanted to visit with all the Buffista teachers who can't make the usual May date. And now here it is, F2F weekend, and I'm stuck here like a thing that isn't moving.

JZ is me! Only, you know, svelte and brunette and married and a mom. But otherwise - me! (If it had been just a LEETLE later, though, I'd have been there. Hell yes. But don't break up until 4th July. I think the universe wants me to only attend F2F events on the West Coast, for some perverse reason.)

Funny, I'm having a flashback to F2F SF.

Oh that was funny. Didn't you skip online declaring that you were more adorable than a basket of puppies, or something along those lines?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Sox, don't want to support your asshole boss, but if it would help you email me the PDF, and I'll send back the word DOC scansoft creates from it. Scansoft is inconsistent, but there is a 50% chance it will preserve all the formatting.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Fay Fay! Anne! Toddson! I have finished Death Note! Witness my post!

There are no spoilers at all, basically, for anyone else interested in joining Team Death Note. It's a good team to be on, you guys.

Also, what the fuck. I can't read Boxed Set because the hotel computer's filter says it's harmful to the childrenz.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

quester, if you were skipping a family wedding to do lines of coke off the ass of the hooker you just picked up in Central America, *that* might be a lame reason to miss a family wedding.

Or, it might be a completely awesome reason!
