When I did Word support, I had someone ask me how to convert a PDF to a Word document so they could change the format of the PDF. I pointed out that the PDF format is designed so people can't just make whatever changes they want, and the customer said, "I don't care, I want to change it, how do I convert it?"

OK, sudden moral crisis--one of the supervisors got confused about a doctor's appointment later and put me down as having this afternoon off. The other supervisor just came by and said, "Why are you here?" My afternoon off today didn't get corrected, and I'm presented with the opportunity to leave or be a good worker bee and stay. The doctor's appointment got put in, but today's time off didn't get removed.
