Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Don't worry that wears off in a couple of years.

Yeah, I figured. The first time he was over here, he was like, "Wow, your place is really clean." I said, "Don't get used to it!"

Then the next night I was at his place, and he had said he didn't keep things really clean, but it was pretty much spotless. He told me not to get used to it...

Chole is cute! My pup prefers the nekkid, and her ears go back/down when she's faced with the indignity of collar or harness.

vw and CBD are cute!

Oh, can I just say that the whole leg-waxing thing?

OMGWTFPAINPAINPAINPAINPAIN!

I'm hoping that by the time I actually hit the beach (Sunday, b/c we'll be getting there probably pretty late on Saturday), my legs won't be all blotchy red and rashy looking. Or incredibly sensitive. Because right now they SO are.

I am absurdly excited about going to the grocery store this afternoon. I haven't gone for a couple of weeks because I've been swamped at work, just sent my DH with a list. I like to browse the food possibilities.

Tep, there is a special kind of oil (sesame maybe) that you can put on it to soothe and keep the redness down (I think I actually use grape seed).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tep! You should know better than to wax right before going to the beach.

Teppy, witchhazel can help after a waxing.

Never actually had it done before, though I certainly wouldn't have had it done, like, the day before; I know that much.

Also, the woman who did it knows that I'm going to the beach this weekend, and she knows I have sensitive skin, and she felt that between yesterday and Sunday would be plenty of time for the reaction to calm down.
