Meara, babe. Stay in. Do not go out. You need to stay chaste for GILF. She's your only hope for glory and wonder and screwage.
Hahhaah! You crack me up. I love you.
I went out, but was a bit late to the lesson, so didn't actually end up taking it. Ended up chatting with a guy who was also late to the lesson about...um...marching band. Cause...well, we're big geeks who were taking country dancing lessons on a Friday night? He apparently is one of the recruiters for the Seattle marching band and was excited I used to be in the DC one--he used to be in the North Carolina one, and we established we knew people in common. He tried to convince me to join, but I said maybe next year.
My friend E (who is part of the GILF-has-cool-friends crowd) showed up, and we talked a lot and danced a lot, though I did dance with some other people too. She and I befriended a gayboy who was there for the first time, by himself. He informed us that on Sunday afternoons, people DO THE HUSTLE at this bar. We were like..."there's more than one dance to do the hustle to? Like, besides the "doot doot doot do the hustle.." song?" Who knew? But he was adorable. And we were shocked that anyone under 25 knew how to do the hustle. Heck, anyone under 50.
So, much fun. But, um, no hot chicks.
for a second there I thought I knew how to do the hustle but I think I know how to do the bus stop to the tune of The Hustle.
edit: over 25, under 50
Well, tomorrow I am going to E's boyfriend's birthday picnic. Because...uh...she previously dated the GILF. And now dates a boy. But there may be people there I don't know!!
And then in the evening I am going out dancing. Like, regular, get-down-to-the-beat, no-actual-steps dancing. I am hoping there will be hot girls there. Perhaps hot girls that the friends I am going with will know. Who they could then introduce me to. That would be ideal.
ooookey. Someone I'm supposed to be the boss of just caught me doing the bus stop and whistling The Hustle while I waited for the copier to warm up.
I can do the Macarena. That's it for me and dances with actual prescribed movements.
those effers are late with the bills again so I just took my blender and hid it in my room. yes it's immature but I am sick of washing it every day when I never use it.
this might be funny if you speak french. I'm not even sure what I said, let alone the dude who was trying to talk to me.
nifty
I'm going to visit the Telectroscope right now! I'm really sad now that we don't have any London Buffistas.

Ok, this screaming phase Em's going through can end anytime now, please.
Emeline, Unka Seanie says stop screaming at Momma.
