Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yeah, my problem right now is I'm on the work computer, and still trying to marginally be good (OK, reading about dildocam possibly not technincally good, but..can't give up buffistas!) so I am severerely limited in what sites I want to go to. So...I keep getting to the end of the internet! ACK.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

And big arm circles.

Will do! Thanks, WS!

Expect more soreness than with the previous T shots - since they added back the D and P.

Lovely. Just.... lovely....

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Also, what is UP with all the cystiness??? Were women in the past having all these cysts?
Is it wrong for me to think "I wonder if we have enough to fill a chapel?" Hey, lets not forget my ultrasound tech telling me I have one, and I don't HAVE girly bits! Don't discriminate against us men folks.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Steph! What a shitty, shitty day. I'm so sorry. I hope you're chilling out with many cuddles tonight.

So, I had my last appointment with my PCP today. Actually, I was her last clinic appointment. Craziness. She loved her quilt (even though it wasn't finished). It was sweet and she was so kind and encouraging. I'm gonna miss her so much.

I made plans for afterwards in case I was having a hard time. I had SUCH a fun night with my friend and her SO. But, getting home was fun. I wasn't sure I was gonna get home, actually. There's some sort of police activity on my way home, and the buses were all re-routed. I can't seem to find out what the police activity is, though, which always makes me nervous.

Bless. My GYN appt tomorrow got canceled. My NP has a personal emergency, but has no open appointment within the next two weeks. Fark.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, I'm glad there was no alien baby (sorry, MM). Sorry about the office bullshit. I think I'd bring in a yoga mat and start meditating at my desk during "prayer time."

I've been busting my ass trying to catch up from a nasty case of procrastinitis. Feh. The vicious circle of avoiding things I've avoided for over a week is horrible.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The vicious circle of avoiding things I've avoided for over a week is horrible.

I wish I had only procrastinated for a week. I've procrastinated for a year. Also, I still have to finish an article before I get on the plane tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sorry to hear about the weepiness, Steph--I've floated myse;f into more than one doctor's appointment on a lake of tears too recently. But it's good that you have a diagnosis. It's a step to resolution.

Don't worry, o-a. Guys can get cysts too. They're for all over.

Steph, I'm glad you got a diagnosis, so that at least gives you a direction.

I had a meeting with my adviser today that went pretty well. And now I'm looking at stuff about job search and freaking out, as usual. I'm not sure how I'm going to get all the letters of recommendation that I need, and my dissertation is taking forever, and how am I supposed to send out 100 applications while also working on the dissertation and my research and, once the semester starts again, teaching?
