Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well put, erika.

Well, yes. But the point being that I feel weird asking her to a bar to have a drink, if she doesn't drink alcohol (she didn't mention reasons, I didn't ask, but she did indicate being OK with going to a bar, but I still feel a little weird if it's just like "OK, here we are, I'm having a big ol' drink and you're having a coke!"). It'd be one thing if it was a place I knew of that had cool non-alcoholic drinks too, or something else neat. So clearly I need to find a place like that. Or a place that has something neat. Etc. Etc.

Because the idea *I* had was this bar that has these neat little two person nooks and crannies. And pages of good drinks. Though I was maybe chickening out on that, because it might be a bit much.

Argh. Guess I'll have to throw it back at her, and i hate doing that. Stupid being new in town.

Thanks. Of course, I would probably ruin it by babbling on about how it's really the *time* I wanted to spend and that she shouldn't think I wanted her to get all liquored up(ha, ha, ha) and then she would probably think I was too weird to hang with anyways. Not that I ever did that with a girl before.

Perfect excuse. Maybe something like "Well, do you know a cozy place where the two of us could talk, that has tasty things? Jamba Juice is yummy, but not so good on atmosphere."

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I just spent an hour finding a name for a horse that the protagonist of my WIP will ride for about 200 pages before said horse is killed in battle.

I think I've raised procrastination to a new height.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Odysseus, actually. After a protracted discussion in chat with one of my CPs over whether the character should choose a name from the Iliad or the Matter of Britain.
