'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, Buffistas. I've missed you.

Trying to compile buttons for my hypothetical sash of self-definition, I come up with: Go on, look at my BooBs; Fat But Surprisingly Flexible; Please Move; Often Callous and Strange; Low Carb; Pantheist (Just Look It Up); Spelling Matters; No Kids, No Regrets; The Only Thing I Fake is Caring; and, Better in Bed Than Your Skinny Girlfriend.

Because books.

Our dog is not a big licker, but our cat used to love to suck and lick earlobes. He was also a big drooler.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Unfortunately, she's also a Republican

You know, some people are. It's OK. Some of them are even good people.

By my definition a Buffy fan is a good person. The fact they are Republican does not make them a bad person. What it does do is limit our topics of conversation. We both realized right away we had opposing political views and agreed there were topics we would not discuss. Which is sad. But we still do have very much to talk about and do.

One of my cats is a kneader. I'd almost rather he suckled, because claws, ow!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

One of my cats is a kneader. I'd almost rather he suckled, because claws, ow!

IME, suckling always involves kneading. Usually with claws, more rarely without, and often with drooling. And very lound purring. In fact, the *only* time Mal ever purrs is when he's trying to suck my neck.

Hrm, that came out somehow wrong.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That's when I know it's time to get Amarna's claws trimmed, when her kneading of my stomach/chest/arm/whatever starts to hurt.

Oh, and she has a strange fascination with my hair when it's at post-pool chlorination level or right after I color it. She's been known to chew it to enjoy the flavor more.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wheezer grabs internet references and YouTube personalities for their new video:

Wired has a story here: [link]

Could they pack more pop culture references into a video?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ye gods! That was quite a bit of stuff.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Apparently the band TCG is in is on You Tube now. link In the first video TCG is the one in black. There is no sound on my computer so I don't know what the sound is like.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My kitty is a kneader and declawed(before I got her) so if I can get her to knead my tense shoulder, it is win/win.

She is also a meower, which is very annoying.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

not sure what I was expecting form TCG's band. Sound quality was a little uneven , sj, but it might be my computer.

umm... we had a heat wave last weekend. now we are talking low 60's and rain this weekend. WTF? of course I've moved some stuff in anticipation of starting our floor, which might not happen...
