Occasionally I’m callous and strange
Last week i dreamed i was in a flood situation (strangely, before the most recent flooding stuff hit the news, but maybe i heard a blurb about it or something before bed) and made a decision to swim for safety. As i was swimming i became aware of something warm and heavy stuck to my right leg, making it difficult to kick (and i as i was trying to swim with me head out of the water, kicking was important) I looked back and my cat was clinging to my leg. Apparently, in dream world, i have only one cat. I identified him simple as "my cat" so i'm not sure whether it was Nico, Mal, or some other unidentified black cat. I plucked him off my leg, put him on my shoulder, continued swimming, and then woke up. It was odd. Strangely, in dream world, there was no sense of relief at cat being safely with me and not drowned.
