Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Howdy, peeps.

I have a killer headache and a very sore, stiff neck this morning. DO NOT WANT.

OH CRAP! I'm sorry, I totally forgot to call you this weekend, MM. Sorry. I was in Redlands all weekend, visiting with family in from out of town.

I may have accidentally ended a relationship today. Also, I have to get up at two in the morning to stand naked in a field with seven hundred other naked people.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sass, our dog is hurting today, too. Poor Layla started yelping while wrestling with a friend at the dogpark yesterday and was in distress. J carried her home and we put an ice pack on her sore right rear leg. Last night it was a bit tender and she was shivering when lying in certain positions, but was fine in others. She's had no problems walking. We think she has a pinched nerve, but are keeping a close eye on her, just in case. Poor pup obviously feels sore and sad. It's hard when they can't tell you what's wrong.

Jars, I'm sorry about the first, but the second sounds intriguing.

Scrappy, ~ma to your pup, too.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Bloody fucking hell.

I'm having a pelvic ultrasound this week for the weird maybe-fibroid (it's NOT for the stabby tummy pains). And then I leave Saturday for a week of vacation, so *if* the ultrasound turns up anything, I won't be able to have it dealt with until after vacation, which will put me into July. And that's all okay with me.

What's NOT okay: we're changing our health insurance here for the second time this year, effective July 1, and my OB/GYN -- of course -- isn't on the new insurance. Which means that if I have fibroids or alien babies or something, I have to go find a totally new OB/GYN to deal with it.

And fuck, man, I've been seeing this OB/GYN for 15 years and now I have to switch? I mean, no, I don't *have* to switch -- I can pay out-of-network fees, which I guess I could shut the fuck up and just do -- but damn it to fucking hell. What goddamned shitty-ass timing.

Fuck fuck fuck. I might as well just cancel the ultrasound, because what the fuck am I going to do with the results anyway?

God damn it.

Jars, I'm sorry about the first, but the second sounds intriguing.

Ah, well, the first one is the culmination of a horrible situation I was dragged into in the office. And I'm really not sorry about it, because one of the parties deserved to know certain things, even if I was a star witness without knowing it.

The second one is a Spencer Tunick installation. He likes nekkid people. And I'm not meant to tell people where it's on, but you guys aren't going to tell anyone, right? It's Blarney Castle! Hilarious, no?
