Teppy are you sure you don't need urgent care? I worry with you home by yourself.

Spike's Bitches 41: Thrown together to stand against the forces of darkness
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm kind of freaking out about job search stuff. Why haven't I published anything yet?
Need to calm myself. Things like this work out. For college, I only got accepted to one school, and I really liked it there. For grad school, I got accepted to two, and only one offered me a decent TA-ship, and it's worked out. The job search will work out, too.
I feel like I keep screwing myself over, by doing just enough work to get something at the next stage, but never really doing the above and beyond stuff to get to something better than just a mid-range offer at a mid-level school.
D'you know what design she's getting?
Yeah, she has had this design in mind for a long time and had the tattoo artist sketch it out when I got my tat back in January. She went back to the same guy today. Anyway, if you are familiar with the Godsmack logo, it is a variation of that, but with a crescent moon in the middle. She also wants a milky way of stars across it in the background but will end up doing that another time (saving a bit of $ and time for now).
K-Bug's boyfriend just texted me a picture of the outline already on her back!!! Play by play tattooing.
Meanwhile, CJ has grown 2 inches in the last 4 months!!! My little boy!!
the Godsmack logo
I knew the band but not the logo. How pretty! Not at all what I expected.
My pets are on crack. I think the cat is high and it's rubbing off on the dog. It looks and smells like it might rain. Do your cats go crazy when it rains?
Sparky- the hang gliding videos are amazing. I think I would be too scared to try towing. It looks like you often get dragged for a few feet.
In other news... years ago, after all my siblings had moved to California but I was still in Chicago, I made them each a tape off our favorite radio station for Christmas. The tapes were very well received and indeed circulated and copied. Now I'm out in Cali and missing ChiTown and listening to our favorite radio station On The Internet! Truly we are living in the diamond age. If only I had some Old Style and thin-crust extra-sauce pizza cut into squares. Ahh well, back to my machinations of lasagna.
Why did they have to straighten her hair? You can be a princess with curly hair.
I dunno, but I am assuming that it's for the same reason that I walk into a salon with curly hair, get a cut, and the stylist always styles my hair straight without asking if that's what I want. And also why people with straight hair end up with theirs curled.
Hairstyles are like cats: whichever side of the door they are, it's the wrong one.
Also, when her hair got wet later in the movie, it stayed straight.
I'm not having a good day, math-wise. Maybe I should have listened to my mother and gone into biomedical engineering instead. Or maybe I should have ignored everybody and gone into architecture.
omg I just figured out how to use the food processor my sister gave me to grate cheese. The power! I wouldn't even have tried it if the recipe I'm using for lasagna didn't assume I would be using a food processor to make the filling. And then I realized I can make Mama Stamberg's Cranberry Relish for thanksgiving! (when I tried it with a blender it was a delicious disaster. I had to throw out the half that included shredded wooden spoon.) Maybe the food processor is her way of saying sorry. Maybe I've had too much wine to be using appliances.
Hil is having a bad math day!
This should not crack me up.
Hil (and this applies to all movies) if you analyze it, it will fall apart.
